our culture! The Account Manager is responsible for the retention
and servicing needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will
demonstrate a high level of professionalism; possess the ability to
work well in a fast-paced environment and the flexibility to easily
adapt to changing priorities. Key Responsibilities: Provides
excellent customer service to a dedicated book of business and
recommends potential enhancements and improvements to processes,
products and/or policies. Proactively understands the requirements
and needs of a client account and ability to multitask in a
fast-paced environment. Responsible for renewing, servicing and
retaining client business. Coordinates market selections for new
and renewal business on designated accounts. Responsible for
driving the entire customer renewal process and experience on
designated accounts. Develops and maintains dependable working
relationships with key carrier partners, underwriters, and
wholesalers. Gather competitive intelligence and rely to internal
parties as requested. Identify and pursue cross selling
opportunities on existing accounts. Responsible for completing
routine service requests in a timely manner such as: cross selling
new lines of business to existing customers; certificates of
insurance; endorsement requests; audit questions and disputes; and
billing plan changes and/or premium finance agreements. Makes
positive contribution to customer satisfaction and constantly
strives to improve service to the customer. Communicates in a
positive manner to contribute to a cohesive, pleasant work
environment. Protects the confidentiality of information learned by
performing the duties of the position. Performs other
responsibilities and duties as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's
degree preferred or equivalent education and/or experience in
insurance. A minimum of 3-5 years of Working knowledge of
commercial property/casualty coverages. A minimum of 3-5 years of
client services experience within the brokerage industry or
equivalent. Current P&C insurance license. Excellent
organization, communication, and negotiation skills. Understanding
of commercial rating concepts, compliance requirements and federal
legislation. Ability to work with computer technology with little
instruction with proficiency at spreadsheet and word processing
programs. Ability to prioritize heavy workloads and meet all time
sensitive deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
