Description: Our client is currently seeking a PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR in the Berwick, KS area.This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Responsible for the supervision, coaching and leading of the production lines.
• Work side by side with Human Resources for hiring, retention and discipline of employees
• Responsible for leading and teaching Continuous Improvement activities to improve manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
• Encourage a continuous improvement environment by promoting new ideas and institutionalize 5S and other Continuous Improvement ToolsRequirements/Skills:
  • Degree is preferred but will consider experience in lieu of a degree
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
  • High Speed Packaging Experience is required
  • FDA or USDA Experience is a plus
  • 3-5 years of supervision experience in manufacturing
  • Some formal Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing experience is required
