Job Description: Description: Description\: This is a multi-level posting. Candidates will be hired in at the level based on education, experience and business need. Performs customary scientific/lab duties without supervision. Designs and executes non-routine PTS experiments with minimal supervision and in accordance with applicable regulations to include designing, planning, scheduling, optimization, execution and validation of processes. Part of core PTS scientific team. Support experimentation to improve antigen production process consistency, stability and yields. May assist in training/instructing junior scientists. Duties & Responsibilities\: Design, schedule and write protocols, conduct experiments, and generate reports for studies. Treat all data with a high level of integrity and ethics. Remain compliant with documentation guidelines and current SOPs related to experimentation, reporting data and training of relevant team members. Utilize statistical software to properly interpret data significance and trends. Identify sources of variation in antigen production and drive improvements to increase yields and decrease variation. Lead optimization efforts to evaluate different growth parameters, medium components, and new equipment. Leads transfer, scale up or scale down efforts to support optimization projects in Operations. Leads projects team meetings, on-the-job trainings, and coaches others. Proposes, gains support with core team members. Evaluate and implement the demo, purchase, and operation of new equipment. Proficient working with vendors and engineering to secure resources to evaluate instrument or equipment. Scientist IV Requirements\: Ph.D. from an accredited institution in scientific discipline (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological sciences preferred) with a minimum of three (3) years of direct industry experience; Or Masters degree from an accredited institution in scientific discipline (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological sciences preferred) with a minimum of seven (7) years of direct industry experience; Or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in scientific discipline (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological sciences preferred) with a minimum of ten (10) years of direct industry experience Experience must be inclusive of at least one (1) year of experience leading, influencing and developing people across the organization Additional qualification in Business (Supply Chain, Economics) preferred Professional Certification in Scientific field or Project Management preferred Expertise in novel technologies or sciences is an advantage Specialized depth of knowledge and industry experience in one or more of the following areas\: manufacturing sciences, manufacturing engineering, microcarrier processes, product formulation, material science and analytical testing methodologies of pharmaceuticals or biologicals products Training and experience in Agile Management preferred Thorough understanding and process knowledge of Pharmaceutical Quality System within BIAH Thorough understanding and technical application of Good Laboratory and Manufacturing Practice (GLP/GMP) regulations, regulatory guidance for industry and other applicable regulations Technical how to guidance and application for required data & information for CMC, product manufacture & delivery (e.g. manufacturing processes, quality, supply chain & risk management) Thorough understanding and technical application of new product development and product lifecycle management processes Developing communications of technical information for varied audiences Demonstrated technical expertise at bench and production scale Demonstrated international/intercultural technical collaboration Demonstrated ability to adapt communications and truly engage with diverse audiences Proven and demonstrated specialized/depth of knowledge in identified discipline Fluency in English required additional language skills are an asset SR Scientist Requirements\: Ph.D. from an accredited institution in scientific discipline (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological sciences preferred) with a minimum of five (5) years of direct industry experience; Or Masters degree from an accredited institution in scientific discipline (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological sciences preferred) with a minimum of ten (10) years of direct industry experience; Or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in scientific discipline (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological sciences preferred) with a minimum of fourteen (14) years of direct industry experience Experience must be inclusive of at least three (3) years of experience leading, influencing and developing people across the organization Additional qualification in Business (Supply Chain, Economics) preferred Professional Certification in Scientific field or Project Management preferred Expertise in novel technologies or sciences is an advantage Specialized depth of knowledge and extensive industry experience in one or more of the following areas\: manufacturing sciences, manufacturing engineering, product formulation, material science and analytical testing methodologies of pharmaceuticals or biologicals products Thorough understanding and process knowledge of Pharmaceutical Quality System within BIAH Thorough understanding and technical application of Good Laboratory and Manufacturing Practice (GLP/GMP) regulations, regulatory guidance for industry and other relevant regulations Technical how to guidance, application and approach influence on data & information for CMC, product manufacture & delivery (e.g. manufacturing processes, quality, supply chain & risk management) Thorough understanding and influence on new product development and product lifecycle management processes Responsible and accountable for communication of technical information for varied audiences Demonstrated leadership, influence, and people development in international/intercultural collaboration Experience and leadership in Agile Management preferred Demonstrated leadership and influence through communications and truly engaging diverse audiences, within and cross organizations and from individual contributor to leadership levels Proven and demonstrated specialized/depth of knowledge and leadership in identified discipline Proven leadership and mentoring of Experts and influence on peers Fluency in English required additional language skills are an asset Eligibility Requirements\: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
