We are looking for a meticulous Commercial Loan Closer to join our team. The Commercial Loan Closer will manage the closing process for commercial loans, including performing the pre-closing audit/due diligence process with Compliance Team support. They will manage due diligence files, review term sheets, loan applications, and work closely with internal stakeholders and external lawyers throughout the loan closing process.

  What You'll Do
  
  • 
    
  • Conduct pre-closing audits and due diligence processes with Compliance Team support
    
  • Review loan documents, term sheets, loan applications, and third-party reports
    
  • Assist internal stakeholders and external lawyers in the loan closing process
    
  • Engage with Treasury team on account needs and facilitate loan document finalization
    
  • Handle select loan modification requests and prepare agendas for loan closing calls
    
  • Support borrower counsel during lender calls and coordinate closing wires and documents
    
  • Draft loan abstracts, prepare loan closing hand-offs, and provide debt team status updates
    
    Who You Are
    
    • 
      
    • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; Paralegal certification is a plus
      
    • Previous experience in Commercial Loan Closing or related roles
      
    • Thorough understanding of commercial lending regulations and practices
      
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
      
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and engage with various stakeholders
      
      A college business degree with paralegal certification is preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered.
