Position Summary: The Market Administrator position at Mercury Broadband reports to the Director of Accounting and acts as a liaison between the accounting department and field teams. This individual will serve a wide range of company needs and will accelerate productivity and company profits through reporting and analysis. The position is primarily accountable for assisting the accounting department with day-to-day responsibilities, monthly reconciliations, and other clerical duties. Location: St. Joseph, MO Position Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive Pay Benefits: Health, Vision, Basic Dental & Life Insurance, STD, LTD, 401k, Paid Time Off, Paid Training Key Responsibilities:Complete daily bookkeeping responsibilitiesProcess invoices and data entryUpdate and manage inventory records for respective marketUpdate and manage property records for respective marketComplete monthly reconciliations and monthly filings Process accounts payable check runsCreate and update employee records, manage personnel databases, and run bi-weekly payroll for respective marketParticipate in various meetingsProcure office supplies for market as needed and run errands as neededSubmit timely reports and presentations Provide historical analysis to support budgeting and forecasting Skills and Requirements:2+ years' experience as office administrator, office assistance, or relevant roleAbility to analyze and interpret financial reportsKnowledge of accounting journal entriesKnowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping principlesExcellent organizational and leadership skillsEnergetic, flexible, and proactiveAble to complete complex administrative tasks with minimal supervisionOutstanding written and verbal communication Excellent interpersonal skillsProficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Word, ExcelKnowledge of payroll and accounting software, ADP and MACC (a plus) Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree (BBA preferred) Mercury Broadband is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
