This position builds custom cabinets while maintaining safety,
quality, customer, housekeeping and productivity specifications.
The role works according to the specifications of the cabinet in
the time frame provided to ensure satisfactory customer ship dates.
Responsibilities: Effectively work individually to construct
assigned projects Examines specifications of work orders and/or
blueprints to determine the materials and method to build the item
Cut resources down to size as needed Apply stains, paint, laminate,
and edge banding as needed Create standard and custom components of
cabinets Inspects all parts of the cabinet before assembly for
cleanliness and flaws Inspects the completed item to ensure product
is to specification Meets deadlines with attention to detail while
following quality requirements Maintains a clean work environment
and follows housekeeping requirements Follows company safety
policies and procedures Signs off schedules and manages paperwork
as directed Works independently and as a team Performs other duties
as assigned Maintains a professional manner Follow directions
provided by Leads, Supervisors, and Management Requirements:
Qualifications/Skills: Minimum of 1 year experience in cabinet
manufacturing or related field Experience in painting and staining
a plus Woodworking experience preferred Experience and ability to
operate power tools Efficient time management skills Overtime
required depending on workload Attention to detail Ability to meet
tight deadlines without sacrificing workmanship Ability to read a
tape measure Good math skills Able to lift and carry up to 80
pounds individually and up to 160 pounds with a team lift Ability
to make repetitive movements, including but not limited to bending
and squatting HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred
