Job Description:
At US Foods, we are committed to excellence in our warehousing
operations and are currently seeking a seasoned Sr Warehouse
Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position plays a pivotal
role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and exceptional
levels of service within the foodservice distribution sector. As a
Sr Warehouse Coordinator, you will manage daily activities in our
warehouse to ensure timely order fulfillment, maintain inventory
accuracy, and uphold safety and quality standards. This role
requires a keen understanding of warehouse management systems and
effective leadership to supervise a team-oriented environment aimed
at meeting the supply needs of approximately 300,000 restaurant and
foodservice partners. Oversee day-to-day warehousing operations and
team management, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and
accurately. Manage inventory levels to prevent stock outs and
overstock situations while ensuring accuracy through regular
audits. Coordinate with other departments to optimize supply chain
processes and improve delivery times. Implement and maintain high
safety and quality standards in compliance with company and
regulatory policies. Train and develop warehouse staff, promoting a
culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Analyze
operational data and reports to identify trends and opportunities
for improvement. Participate in strategic planning and budgeting
for warehouse operations. Expertise in warehouse management systems
(WMS) Proven ability to lead and manage a team Strong
organizational and problem-solving skills Excellent communication
and interpersonal abilities Proficient in MS Office and data
