Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown Unit position requiring night shifts and a MO or compact RN license. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the Stepdown Unit of a hospital setting - Patient population includes individuals requiring stepdown level care - Shift is three 12-hour nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM - May be required to float to units of similar or lower acuity as needed - EPIC is used for charting - Free onsite parking is available - Work within a Level II Trauma and Stroke Center environment - Local candidates are accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced rate - First time travelers will be considered - Holiday coverage may be required as per unit scheduling /n /n Requirements/n - Active MO or compact RN license required, must be in hand prior to start - Basic Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required - Minimum of two years of stepdown experience required - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred - Copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-649862.
