Our interventional radiology nurses manage care for patients undergoing minimally invasive image-guided procedures, which require astute assessments, detailed patient education, and excellent technical skills. Provide direct nursing care before, during, and after procedures. Assess patients' conditions and administer appropriate medications. Monitor patient vital signs and provide updates to the interventional radiologist. Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and necessary follow-up. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize care plans. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to operate complex radiologic equipment Proficiency in applying sterile techniques Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in applicable state BLS Certification required ACLS Certification preferred Certification in Radiology Nursing (CRN) desirable
