Job Description American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in St. Joseph, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Nights, 4x12hrs - Hours: 48 hrs/wk - Start Date: Jun 30, 2025 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU assignment, requiring ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, TNCC, and at least two years of ICU experience. Details - Work in the ICU of a hospital setting - Care for a diverse patient population with no burns, pediatrics, transplants, or ECMO cases - Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2 - Night shifts available with either 36 or 48 hours per week, shift time 18:30 to 07:00 - Block scheduling accommodated - Float to other units as required - Every third weekend work requirement within a six-week schedule - Uses Epic charting system, Epic experience preferred Requirements - Active MO or compact RN license in hand prior to start; pending licensure accepted for consideration - Current ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required - Minimum of two years ICU nursing experience required - No first-time travelers considered - Preferred previous travel nursing experience - Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility for travel pay eligibility Additional Information - Must adhere to a two RTO requests limit per contract - Scrubs of any color and brand permitted - Orientation includes non-billable modules completed during onboarding - Return staff must have been gone for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler - COVID vaccination status may affect eligibility if required by the facility American Traveler Job ID P-560874.
