be considered. Provide expert nursing care in an acute step-down
rehabilitation setting dedicated to supporting patient recovery and
wellness. This contract opportunity is based in Kansas City, KS, at
a facility specializing in acute medical-surgical care with a focus

Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a
30-bed acute rehab unit Monitor telemetry both remotely and on-unit
to ensure patient safety Implement and manage blood glucose
monitoring and insulin protocols Perform Foley catheter removal and
provide central line care including PICC lines Administer blood and
blood products with strict adherence to safety standards Assess and
prevent fall risks, maintaining infection prevention and isolation
precautions Start and maintain IVs and monitor pulse oximetry
readings Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize
patient outcomes Adapt to floating assignments across departments
as needed Qualifications & Experience: Active RN licensure with a
minimum of 1 year of nursing experience Certification in BLS
required; experience in acute rehab and telemetry preferred Skilled
in handling blood glucose monitoring, IV therapy, and central line
care Familiar with EPIC charting system and adherence to PPE
protocols Comfortable working night shifts (3x12-hour shifts from
19:00 to 07:30) Willingness to work a minimum of 8 weekend shifts
per 6 weeks and holidays if scheduled Job Details: Contract
position with guaranteed hours (3 shifts per 13 weeks) Strict
floating within the facility, no block scheduling accommodation
Must reside at least 75 miles away from the facility; no pending
state licenses accepted Navy blue scrub color required for RNs in
this role Lift equipment is available to support patient handling
