Technician – Implementation Team At Surgical Solutions , we are
dedicated to providing exceptional support to healthcare teams by
ensuring surgical instruments and equipment are meticulously
maintained and ready for every case. We partner with hospitals and
surgical teams to deliver high-quality, reliable services that help
improve patient outcomes. We’re currently seeking Traveling
Technicians to join our Implementation Team—professionals who
thrive in dynamic environments, passionate about healthcare support
and love to travel. Must live near a major airport to support
frequent travel—ideal locations include Grand Rapids, MI Metro,
Chicago Metro, NYC Metro, Louisville, KY Metro, Kansas City Metro
and St. Louis Metro . What You’ll Do: Travel across assigned
territories to support new hospital accounts in both the operating
room and sterile processing departments. Execute the project plan
for successful implementation of new accounts. Build and maintain
strong, trusted relationships with hospital personnel, surgeons,
nurses and OR staff. Help onboard new Technicians, orienting them
to relevant hospital protocols and procedures. Provide on-the-job
training for new hires and/or re-training for current staff. Ensure
the highest standards of decontamination, inspection, assembly,
wrapping, and sterilization of surgical instruments. Maintain
laparoscopic equipment, manage repairs, and replace instruments as
needed. Keep surgeon preference cards up to date. Demonstrate
professionalism in service, communication, and teamwork with
Surgical Solutions, hospital, and OR personnel. Maintain CRCST
certification and comply with all credentialing and training
requirements. Lead by example in daily operations to support
operational workflows. Share best practices to help teams integrate
digital tools smoothly. What We’re Looking For: CRCST or CBSPD
certification required. If CBSPD certified, must obtain CRCST
certification within 120 days of employment. Previous OR/SPD
experience required. High school diploma/GED required, some college
preferred. Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to
build rapport quickly with healthcare teams. Strong attention to
detail and ability to anticipate needs. Flexibility for 24/7
hospital coverage including weekday, weekend, holiday rotations,
and on-call shifts. Ability and willingness to travel up to 90% of
