Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Saint Joseph, MO Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,280 to $1,440 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $32.00 - $36.00/Hourly. Summary: We are looking for an attentive physical therapist assistant to help physical therapists with their sessions. The physical therapist assistant is responsible for massaging patients, sanitizing treatment areas, and setting up therapy equipment. Responsibilities: Help patients stretch and exercise certain muscle groups. Read instructions from Physical Therapist. Work directly with Physical Therapist to assist patients. Speak with families to find best at-home techniques. Keep physical therapy clean and organized. Move patients from wheelchairs or walkers to physical therapy area. Complete administrative tasks, like scheduling appointments and filing paperwork. Requirements Requirements: 1 year of PTA experience Required. Long Term Care (LTC) or Rehab Experience Required.
