Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Operating Room Location: Kansas City, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,614 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Kansas City, Missouri, 64111! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: 1 to 2 Years of Experience Required License: Active Nursing License in State of Practice Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Experience in circulating heart, lung, thoracic, and vascular procedures. Open heart surgery and vascular surgery experience required. No first-time circulators accepted. Weekend call is required. On-call approximately 10 days per month. Description: The Registered Nurse will work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. The nurse will have a patient ratio of 1:1. Responsibilities include circulating for cardiovascular surgeries such as Atrial Septal defect repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, MAZE procedure, Mitral valve replacement, and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement. Knowledge in emergency management, fire safety, blood product administration, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling, and wound management is essential. Regular floating may be required between departments and units as necessary. Candidates must be willing to complete required training modules. References must be provided from the past year, including one from a supervisor or charge nurse. This position requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to respond to emergencies effectively.
