TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Overland Park, Kansas, 66213! Pay Information $2,883 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 to 2 Years Required License: Valid RN License Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Preferred: ACLS Must-Have: 2 Years of Recent Specialty Experience Required Description: Position available for a Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit. Three 12-hour night shifts per week. Patient-to-nurse ratios are approximately 1:5. Candidates must have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments may be required as needed by the unit. Weekend requirement includes a minimum of 8 shifts within a 6-week schedule period. Float pool position; there will not be a designated home unit. Will float to various units as needed. Certifications required include BLS and NIHSS; ACLS is preferred. Skills required include cardiac monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures, and response to emergencies. Preferred skills include sheath removal and feeding tube care and management. No on-call requirement. No block schedules available. Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered. Pending licenses will not be accepted. Request for time off is limited to a maximum of 7 days. Documentation will be required before the start date. Reference requirement includes 2 references, one from a supervisor or above and the second from a charge RN. Drug screening results must not be diluted or positive without clearance by the MRO. Modules are required as part of compliance preparation before starting the position.
