Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is the
state agency that focuses solely on policies, programs, and
services for people with mental health challenges, substance use
disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, or any
combination of these.--As Georgia's public safety net, DBHDD
operates six field offices and five hospitals throughout the state
within three program areas: behavioral health, developmental
disabilities and hospital services. DBHDD Division Information The
State of Georgia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental
Disabilities (DBHDD) is currently seeking a Regional Hospital
Administrator (RHA) / Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Georgia
Regional Hospital- Savannah (GRHS). Since opening in 1970, GRHS has
stood as a beacon of hope for consumers in need of behavioral
health services in its region. GRHS provides inpatient services to
34--counties and elsewhere as needed. Operated by DBHDD, the
179-bed capacity facility can serve 110--Forensic--and 69--Adult
Mental Health individuals/patients. GRHS also has one Community
Integration Home (CIH). Employment: Full Time Travel: Moderate Pay

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Georgia Regional Hospital-
Savannah ( GRHS )
Under administrative direction of DBHDD's Director, Division of
Hospital Services, the RHA is responsible for direction of GRHS and
its community integration homes (ClH's). This encompasses 24-7
responsibility for inpatient and residential treatment / services,
management and administration of 600 + direct care, programmatic,
operational and support staff, operation / maintenance of the
associated facilities and equipment, and budget development and
administration.
Roles and Responsibilities: The RHA will lead an Interdisciplinary
Team to: Plan, organize, direct and be accountable for the delivery
of healthcare and forensic services within the hospital and
associated community integration homes. Monitor
programs/activities, service delivery and outcomes, and identify
opportunities to improve the provision of services. Coordinate with
DBHDD Leadership to ensure service delivery and outcomes are
effective, efficient and quality in nature, and compliant with
departmental, state and federal regulatory agencies and
certification bodies. Implement and sustain GRHS 's strategic and
operational plan and develop/modify policies and protocols to
enhance/sustain quality service delivery and performance.
Establish/monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPl's) for hospital
services and assess system performance, identify gaps/issues and
propose/drive solutions. Establish and ensure that appropriate
objectives and priorities are set for GRHS ; communicate objectives
and priorities to leadership; monitor results and adjust as
organizational needs/circumstances dictate. Oversee a diverse range
of direct care, programmatic, operational and support functions,
activities and staff. Develop and administer departmental policies
supportive of GRHS objectives, and ensure compliance with
applicable departmental, state, federal and regulatory/compliance
bodies (TJC, etc.). Maintain and ensure that facilities are
attentive to and compliant with departmental and relevant
regulatory body requirements/certification. Ensure that GRHS
leadership develops and administers program budgets supportive of
quality and contiguous services. Create/maintain a high-performance
learning environment characterized by positive leadership and
teamwork. Collect and analyze information from staff and entities
across GRHS . Prepare and distribute accountability reporting to
include status of services, perceived program/system quality and
overall service delivery impact. Build and maintain key internal
and stakeholder relationships in support of hospital services.

related filed from an accredited college or university AND Four
years of management/supervisory experience in health care services
OR Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or
university AND Five years of management/supervisory experience in
health care services OR Bachelor's degree in a related field from
an accredited college or university AND Six years of
management/supervisory experience in health care services OR Two
years of experience at the lower level Sr Mgr, Hlth Care (HCM013)
or position equivalent. Note: Some positions may require
certification and/or licensure.
