Lifeway Mobility, a leader in providing essential home mobility and accessibility solutions, is seeking a dedicated Field Technician to join our team. This role is paramount in enabling us in our mission to enhance the independence of individuals in their own homes through the installation, maintenance, and repair of various mobility and safety products, including ramps, stair lifts, and bath safety products. The Field Technician will work directly within client homes to ensure the safe and effective operation of our equipment, promoting a higher quality of life for our clients. Install, maintain, and repair mobility and safety equipment in clients' homes, adhering to company standards and protocols. Perform regular maintenance checks and troubleshooting to ensure equipment operates smoothly. Educate clients and their families on how to safely use and maintain the provided equipment. Manage inventory of tools and supplies, ensuring adequate stock for assigned tasks and timely reordering. Prepare and maintain accurate service reports and compliance documentation for each home visit. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns raised by clients and ensuring their satisfaction with solutions provided. Technical proficiency in working with mechanical and electronic systems Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks Detail-oriented with a commitment to high standards of safety 401k Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Certification or completion of courses in electrical, mechanical, or biomedical engineering is a plus.
