Job Description:
Maintenance Lead - Kansas City, KS This is a full-time, hourly
position. In Case of Absence Duties shall be absorbed as necessary
per the Regional Operations Manager or the Plant Manager.
Experience / Qualifications Required Associate’s degree or
equivalent in maintenance or related field preferred. Minimum 2
years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant or related
field preferred. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical blueprints.
Capability of operating various mechanical equipment. Training

Description Direct the Maintenance department including personnel.
Maintain general preventive maintenance schedules for the
production and research areas. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical,
gas, steam, water and air problems. Lead the installation of new
plant equipment. Install and/or modify electric, air, water, steam
and gas supply lines. Modify the process flow to improve safety,
quality and efficiency issues. Maintain the building and
surrounding facilities. Notify Plant Manager immediately in the
event issues arise that may cause production delays. Responsibility
to identify food safety and/or product integrity issues and to
initiate and record actions for issues reported. Work in the most
effective, efficient and safe manner at all times. Authority to
purchase necessary chemicals and lubricants. Authority to
communicate with suppliers and contractors. Perform other duties as
