Boeing Ground Support Systems, a team in Boeing Global Services
organization, is currently seeking a senior level engineer for
supporting multiple programs. These positions are located in Saint
This position requires a proactive individual to participate on a
multi-disciplined team supporting multiple avionic systems, which
will provide the expertise necessary to specify the requirements
and analysis of new and modified avionic systems for
supportability, Built-In-Test (BIT) effectiveness, and testability
attributes. Knowledge and application of diagnostic design and
support requirements and Customer/Supplier design specifications is
required for the Subsystem, avionic box, and circuit card
Duties include but are not limited to: proposal evaluation, BIT
analysis, design-for-testability analysis, participation in
build-to/buy-to bid packages, Supplier coordination of design and
data issues, Customer interface/coordination, and formal data item
preparation and delivery. Additional duties include Integrated
Product Development (IPD) team involvement, developing and
maintaining fault reporting/isolating rules and logic for
post-flight processing, supporting field queries regarding faults
reported, fault reporting logic, and fault trend observation and/or
general post-flight fault processing.
Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a
US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US
Citizenship * A US Secret Interim and/or Final - Post-Start is
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
Electrical/ Electronic circuit design and analysis experience
Desired Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
Fighter aircraft interface experience
Familiarity with sophisticated Avionics Suites and Maintenance
concepts. Previous experience with military aircraft avionics
Typical Education and Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work
experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred,
although not required, accreditation standard.
Occasional travel may or will be required.
Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for
this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or
relocate at their own expense.
