Job Description:

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work wih other accounting and tax professionals in delivering the highest quality service to our clients. Services provided by our firm include, but are not limited to Accounting Services, QuickBooks, Payroll Services, Sales Tax Reporting, Income Tax Preparation and Tax Planning. You will interact directly with our clients on a regular basis to better understand and serve their needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Accounting and tax engagements from start to finish - planning, directing and timely completion
• Prepare and/or Review client tax returns for trusts, partnerships, corporations and more complex individual engagements
• Complete and/or Review client accounting including reconciliations, fixed assets and depreciation schedules, payroll, journal entries, compliations and financial statement preparation
• Research and consult with management on various client related accounting and tax matters
• Respond in a timely maner to inquiries and notices from the IRS and other tax authorities
• Offier ideas on how clients may be able to legally reduce or defer their taxes
  QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experienc in preparing individual and business tax returns
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting/ bookkeeping
  • Strong technical skills including the ability to effectively utilitze tchnology
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with analytical and research capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and QuickBooks
  • Ultra Tax experience
