expand a comprehensive neuro-oncology program Academic appointment

clinical trials portfolio Work closely with multidisciplinary
neuroscience and oncology teams including neurosurgery,
neuroradiology, neuropathology, and oncology specialists
Established clinical trials program with strong infrastructure and
support staff Dedicated research coordinators and grant-writing
resources availableClinical & Program Leadership Responsibilities
Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical care for adult brain
tumor patients Lead strategic development of the neuro-oncology
program, including quality improvement and program growth
initiatives Oversee active neuro-oncology clinical trials ensuring
regulatory compliance, patient safety, and timely enrollment Expand
the clinical trials portfolio through investigator-initiated
research and industry collaborations Collaborate with institutional
research teams and national cancer research networks Mentor
neuro-oncology faculty, advanced practice providers, and research
staff Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and
collaborative clinics Support outreach and program development to
strengthen referral networksProgram Vision Build a premier regional
neuro-oncology program with a strong reputation for clinical
excellence and research innovation Develop a trial-focused clinical
culture where research is integrated into routine patient care
Expand access to advanced brain tumor therapies and clinical trials
across the region Foster mentorship and academic development for
future neuro-oncology leadersAcademic Opportunities Faculty
appointment through an affiliated medical school Participation in
education, teaching, and mentorship initiatives Opportunities for
investigator-initiated studies and clinical research leadership

programsCandidate Requirements MD or DO (MD/PhD also considered)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology, Medical Oncology,
or a related specialty Fellowship training in Neuro-Oncology
Eligible for medical licensure in Missouri Demonstrated experience
with neuro-oncology clinical trials, including study leadership or
principal investigator roles Strong leadership and collaboration
skillsPreferred Qualifications Experience directing or expanding an
academic neuro-oncology program Background with cooperative group
trials, investigator-initiated studies, or industry-sponsored
research Record of scholarly activity including peer-reviewed
